Ok i get the argument.
Things can(potentially) get infinitely hot but not infinitely cold so if we say that adding cold to things is a thing then there is a problem with absolute zero.

Thermodynamics uses the term with some definition. There is no proof that cold should be defined as absent of heat.
I might be wrong though... Give me some link. Enlighten me!

It's mostly a matter of definition... If i define what's cold first then i can define heat as absent of it.
