Looks like a 9:20:06 for final time. Not record worthy (or even better than my first time) but not too bad considering the schedule was broken at the first transfer and everything else was done on the fly.

The 1 minute transfer was too good to be true. That run didn’t happen but I got the next one and doors just closed.

Completed purple line, just leaving kimball now. Had to wait 13 mins because they canceled the run that was supposed to leave 2 mins after I arrived. Just have 2 more stations then I’m done!

Decided to take purple line first because I missed a yellow line transfer by a few mins. We’ll see how this works out. Made a less than 30 second to purple at howard after pulling into the SB platform so at least no downtime there.

Quick transfer at Belmont (arrived 1:09 left 1:11) and northbound on Red now. Making a final plan for Howard, will need to make the call once I’m there.

Arrived to kimball at 12:49 and left at 12:52, can’t complain there. 5/8 lines done just need to finish up the howard area.

Pink line train left on schedule and got me clark/lake with a 4 min layover for the next brown line train. There is a 17 minute headway behind me so I'm glad I got this one. 12:52 ETA to kimball from here. Way behind schedule but have to see it through.

Waited for 10 mins for the 54B and am on my way to pink line now. 10 mins is not bad for the 54B but my schedule only had 2 min wait for it so makes me further behind schedule (not that the times have been accurate at all since first segment was delayed).

On orange line where it looks like I’ll have a 7 min wait at Midway for the 54B but the bus doesn’t track yet.

Had a nice short ride to Adams/Wabash. The orange line train I’m going to get on passed us at Harold Washington Library so it will be here very soon.

Boarded brown line at Sedgewick at 10:15. I should have stretched, the cold is tough to run in.

Leaving chicago station now, I’m going to get off at North/Clyborne and run to Sedgewick to catch a brown line because the transfer to brown at fullerton is going to be difficult.

Arrived to 95th at 9:28 and there was an operator waiting at the other end so we left at 9:29. Could have been much worse. Hoping future transfers aren’t too bad with me being far off schedule but only one way to find out.

Not sure what happened to my last reply but my train wasn’t leaving at 8:53 so I took a decently timed bus to 63rd red line.

Made it to Garfield at 8:37 and boarded SB at 8:30. At garfield now, 8:49 eta to Ashland 63rd and the NB train should leave at 8:53 (20 mins behind schedule)

Completed the East branch of green line getting to Cottage Grove at 8:20. Going to stay on this train NB to Garfield where I’ll transfer to a southbound to ashland. I think that will be the train that turns around for the 8:53 run so it won’t be possible to miss it since I’ll be on it.

Went through the loop on green and scheduled for Cottage grove arrival at 8:20. There’s a 63 bus west scheduled for 8:23 but looks like it isn’t running and I might need to wait until 8:30. If the 8:30 is the soonest it seems faster to backtrack to garfield. Will make the call at the station.

Just got to Laramie, scheduled for 8:16 arrival to cottage grove (18 behind schedule). Not going to worry about the 63 bus/green line fork plan until I get closer.

Ended up jogging the 1.2 miles to Harlem/Lake in case the 318 was late. My doors just closed on my train to cottage grove and the 318 is just pulling in, so it paid off to run.

Forest Park is next stop, 6:53 arrival. I missed the scheduled 318 bus but going to continue the run and make the call based on how the transfers work on the red/green transfers in an hour or 2.

1 hour in and my blue line run 106 is scheduled to get into forest park a little early for a 5 minute transfer for 318.
