In my lifetime there were Americans who were killed just trying to get the right to vote. True, it should be easy as possible to vote, but we all have a responsibility to vote no matter what the difficulty.

Thanks for the info. But I thought that when Putin traveled to other countries there was talk that he could be arrested.

The USA is not a signatory to the ICC, but I don’t think it is especially unreasonable that the court might charge Trump with violations of international law. Would that prevent him from visiting countries that are signatories, as they would be obliged to arrest him? Or would Trump call their bluff?

Five years ago even the Republicans considered her too racist. I don’t think she’s changed, she just wants to run for higher office and has to camouflage her true feelings. www.politico.com/news/2020/06...

Never underestimate the ability of evolution and natural selection to find a way. This type of study also emphasizes the importance of field sampling of bats and other animals that might pose risks for zoonotic transmission. I think Trump and the Republicans cut funding for that work.

Many of us got to know Bellingcat for its hard hitting investigation of Russian attacks on civilians in Ukraine. It is a sign of the times that they are now needed for that type of reporting on Trump’s attacks on his own citizens.

Trump campaigned on promises of policies that would be racist and also on policies that would hurt farmers (high tariffs). The way in which these Iowans voted shows what was more important to them. They need to live with their choice.

What she should have said is that if you are an expert in one field it does not mean you are necessarily an expert in another field.

You can’t help but feel sorry for kids whose parents are so unsupportive, or cruel, that their children have to hide such important things from them. I’m no expert but that seems like poor parenting.
