The nonbinary flag. According to Wikipedia the yellow stripe represents people outside the gender binary. The white stripe represents people with multiple genders. The purple stripe represents people who identify specifically as a blend of male and female. The black stripe represents agender people. This was the 2nd step on my queer journey. I always felt like the term man didn't "fit" me, and I eventually learned the vocabulary to explain that was because I'm _not_ a man. Being able define that has really helped me become a more authentic version of myself. The trans flag. The designer of the flag is quoted saying the light blue is for boys, the light pink is for girls, and the white stripe is for folx who are intersex, transitioning or consider themselves having a neutral or undefined gender. This is where I currently am on my queer journey. Figuring out where and how I fit into the world. This flag feels safe to me. The bi flag. Pink represents attraction to same gender, Blue represents attraction to opposite gender, Purple represents attraction to two or more genders. This was the start of my queer acceptance journey. Taking that 1st step by accepting my bisexuality led to further self discovery and a much happier life.

The theatre company my wife created is also working with local trans artists and activists to create a community forum event where we can have safe and open discussion about what we can do in the community
