The original target for a legit consistent playoff team was year 5, what is it now? The West (and Pacific in particular) is fluky this year.
They’re great at the hype stuff like uniform combos, and getting 5 star recruits and transfers with Uncle Phil’s credit card… not so much at developing and winning the big games.

Didn’t Ron Francis and ownership have a full understanding and sign off on Bylsma’s plans and the systems and structures before they hired him & the coaching staff? Was he trying to coach and install unproven structures that other successful NHL teams don’t use?
