This is the kind of power we need at the moment - a ‘Different Kind of Power’. What’s happening at the moment only re-instates the need for more female and humane leadership. We’d have a different world if that was the case! Good to see @jacindaardern.bsky.social in Brussels last week.

The public works continue in my street here in Koekelberg, with several areas to create more green space, reducing car spaces and a more pleasant #publicspace for residents. Looking forward to see the ‘after’ photos in a few weeks.

I came across this pic. from 2019 when visiting Glasgow. Thinking about the changes to my birth city since I left over 23 yrs ago. The one constant - “People Make Glasgow” and great, well designed places / public space contribute to thriving cities and communities. @sociallifeproject.bsky.social

Excellent debates/panels encouraging that much needed critical thought at the Ideas Festival at Full Circle. It was good to meet new contacts, see acquaintances and most of all spend time with good friends in the diversity that is Brussels.
