Definitely a gamble posting any membership numbers for the Green Party as it will already be out of date before I finish typing. What an amazing day today though!

Just how much longer can the wealthy get wealthier and the poorest get poorer? There has to become a point when there's nothing left to transfer. I think we are close. Also 80% of UK millionaires support a 2% wealth tax on assets over £10 million.

What a disappointment the Labour cabinet are. My heart goes out to disabled people who are now terrified of what will happen. Such a rushed bill and labour can't even say how much the bill will save.

Mixed emotions today. Relief that it looks like action is finally being taken to help Gaza's innocents, frustration that it's not enough, sadness that it's taken so long.

This is an absolute travesty. When you have a choice of taxing the rich, who likely won't have their lifestyles affected at all, or causing huge mental harm and wellbeing to some of the most vulnerable people in society, it astound me that you choose the latter.

Absolutely this. Our media is bias and is damaging democracy.
Roughly 17,000 councillors in the UK. Nearly 6500 Labour. Just over 5000 Tory. 3000 Lib Dem.
Reform have 799 and suddenly N.F. is being touted by the media as the next Prime Minister?
The Green Party have 850 councillors. Why aren't the Green Party being bigged-up by the press?

Absolutely this. Our media is bias and is damaging democracy.
If you are worried about the rise of Reform and want to do something about come and join the Greens. Or even better, become active with us, like a lady who contacted me yesterday wants to do. We will find something for you do that is within your comfort zone and fits your time commitments.

It's even more important now to monitor and compare the performance of all elected Mayors, both new and existing. We need to ensure that they work hard and spend their budgets wisely and efficiently.
