Why the EU seems obsessed with this for the UK when honestly I visited the UK earlier this year and was not impressed my parents had always idealised it but Zagreb is much nicer than London.

Australia is where me and my friends want to go.

Do we complain to Plenković or von der Leyen?

yes finally the Swiss restrictions on Croatians will end in January but that is different because it relates to the Swiss single market access.

I thought youth deals had nothing to do with SM access and were the responsibility of our national government.

As a Croatian I couldn't care less about a youth mobility deal with the UK, I wish they would get other countries to treat us like the rich countries. We only have deals with Canada and NZ.

North and West Europeans have many more.

I really want to go and work in Australia for a year.

Albania and Montenegro. It's good for them.

I will say though the British are always some of the worst behaved tourists so anything that keeps them out is not necessarily a bad thing haha

Well I don't know about the Baltics but I work in the tourism in Croatia and before joining Schengen we would get many Americans and Canadians who only came because they were looking for places in Europe outside the zone.

They were always the richest tourists too.

SZ has been good for us as Croatians but we have lost these tourists, I don't see why our benefit has to be exclusive and there can't be some system where non-EU tourists can't spend longer in the zone, after all we are 29 diverse countries it would be nice to be able to show all Europe has to offer

I work in the tourism in Croatia and before 2023 we would get many American and Canadian tourists who only came to visit us because they needed to be outside Schengen but they fell in love with our country and were grateful to be "forced" here.

It never made sense to me.
