Perhaps that is why your lyrics are so great and my lyrics so grate? 🤔

The closest thing to crazy? You'd have to be nuts to not buy a copy! 😀

Indeed. Long gone.

I may have some slides and possibly the service manual in storage. I'll look next time I have the opportunity. Floppies containing the BIOS source code et al got skipped. If I'd just waited until the Retro community truly gathered momentum 😢

(I have kept my beloved TRS-80 Model 1 Level 2 though)

With separate disk drives and the Iotec branded boxy Microvitec monitor the system looked messy alongside the integrated H|H Tiger.

No, we didn't sell any. I don't recall any standout features other than the cases for the CPU/keyboard and floppies being fabricated from folded 2-3mm aluminium with a smooth black finish that fingerprints loved. The disk drives were sold singly and could be stacked on top of the CPU Apple2-like.

The Tiger also had a bus interface, rather like the BBC's Tube, to support additional external processors, each with their own RAM of course. I built a 8086 board running CP/M-86 for the Tiger (which worked well) and a 68000 board running OS9 (which worked less-well!)

Incidentally, our low-end CP/M offering was an even rarer British-made beast called the Iotec Iona. We also had one of these aluminium enveloped, jet-black beasts in the office. I don't think it ever made it in to mass production.

I latterly owned the office Tiger and used for software and hardware development well in to the 1990s. Unable to sell it, it was stripped for parts and skipped 😢 Great machine.

I worked for a Glasgow-based VAR who, alongside high-end CP/M and MP/M machines, offered the mid-range H||H Tiger. It never failed to impress business and engineering customers with its sharp colour screen, graphics, IEEE 488 interface, BT Prestel connectivity et al. Too late and expensive however.

Episode 225 (AKA 221) may be out but is it in the wild? 30 hours on and it is not on Apple Podcasts nor does it appear on hostunknown.tv. I fear I may be forced to listen to another security podcast published on Wednesdays. At least I'll sleep quickly tonight

The cover image from "Peter Norton's Assembly Language for the IBM PC" 1986 book I believe. I fear that at least one of your followers not only recognises the crossed arms but also which pose, tie pattern and knot position goes with which Norton product. Yes, I do need a life.

Yes, I totally agree that it pretty horrifying that so many are making an ill-informed moutain out of the proverbial molehill. I'm sorry that your weekend has been ruined but please read this for some balance ukdefencejournal.org.uk/glen-sannox-...
Glen Sannox temporarily withdrawn from service
MV Glen Sannox has been temporarily withdrawn from service due to a minor hull crack—but let’s have some perspective, this is not a big deal.

Did this AIFix obsession with robot dogs plus appendages result in you missing a bigger story at Christmas? An incarcerated master of disguise who brute forced a password, defeated a CAPTCHA, err CAPTCPA challenge to gain remote sysadmin access allowing him to build an army of evil smart gnomes.

Probably just a period wagon load on the O Gauge layout that is in the process of being rebuilt following the arson attack back in May.
