Fair enough, not my style of bass anyway. And yes, my endpin is very high, I am 1.95m tall, and the nut is supposed to be level with my eyes.

Wondering why I feel like death warmed up today. I had 2 vaccinactions yesterday, carried a metric shit-ton of music gear, drove through Glasgow at rush hour on a Friday, played a gig for maybe 2.5 - 3 hours, drove home again, and woke up 5 hours after I went to bed. Good night! Early bed for me!

Currently got the rehearsal studio to myself as the rest of the band are stuck in traffic. Why can't Scottish people drive in snow?

Regardless, we wanted me moved out here, my wife moved into my old office (formerly the back bedroom), and our front room no longer a work space, and all ready for Christmas. This is my office setup - the stereo is essential, as will be the Les Paul when I move it in.

The sparkies have not come back yet to finish wiring up the mains, apparently they all have Covid, but I terminated the ethernet cable myself and have a router running on PoE giving me WiFi. The orange cable in the previous picture is my extension cable, which is staying there until they come back.

So I promised you a photo of my WFH office. Problem is, unless I use a fisheye lens, I can't fit it all in the frame. It's L-shaped due to my wife's greenhouses, and unphotographable for roughly the same reason. Anyway, I moved my desk in there this afternoon, and in the morning I start work there.

So, we like making things around here? A bit of a teaser I suppose, I started making this back in May. This weekend I plan on putting down flooring in my finished(ish) office. I'll get some decent photos of the outside then - taking photos in the evening isn't so great just now. This is 5m x 3.5m.

Spent the afternoon recording with some friends. Everybody knows a good Christmas song will pay off your mortgage, but how about a New Year song? My mortgage is already paid off, but when it's finished I'll post the New Year's Waltz here. Maybe it will hit the spot for some of you?
