i wonder if Congress could pass a law forbidding further trashing of the White House and federal buildings without congressional approval. it’s getting really weird (and expensive).

i can’t imagine a worse person to be the president of the US; we knew he was a malignant narcissist, but the comments about the deaths of the Reiners is a new low for the person who has brought us all down for years now with his racism, sexism, and lack of empathy.

housing and healthcare are unaffordable- the rich need to give up something to make these life necessities accessible for all Americans. Give up a jet, yacht, or 2nd (or 3rd, 4th, or 5th) house.

One of the weirdest things during the campaign was Trump talking about money. He clearly had no idea what 5 dollars can buy or what a tank of gas costs. Yet that fact never gained any traction among big foot pundits.
Every time I listen to Trump, Bessent or Lutnick talk about economic conditions, it is always completely obvious how utterly disconnected they are from the everyday struggles the average American working family is dealing with right now. They simply can’t relate to normal people.

the administration is still working to gut environmental laws- emphasizing cost over endangered wildlife protection, gutting wetland protection, and selling offshore oil leases.

there is some concern regarding social media posts supporting or urging violence. what about when it comes from the president?

There is free speech in the US, although mine is heavily curtailed, but calling for murder by domeone with the bully pulpit and millions of followers is frightening.

Someone needs to ask Mike Johnson if the Congressional budget will be honored or will Trump continue to do whatever he wants with that money.

Miller: I think it was through all of the times that Trump has fallen asleep in public and talked about magnets getting wet.
