I see two possible resolutions. The first (improbable) is SCOTUS clarifies its Trump immunity ruling and informs the DOJ Trump is not above the law. The second is they hold the people carrying out trump's illegal orders accountable and make others too scared to follow them.

Here's the bottom line: despite the name, there is no such thing as the Department of Government Efficiency. They have no budget, cannot hire or fire employees, cannot make demands to real Government employees. Resist them!
