A text went out to family group chat about missing pie plates from previous years and a threat to withhold this years pies if they don’t turn up at dinner 🤦🏻‍♀️

So far he’s 2 hours into the process and all that happened is flour has been measured, nutmeg grated and pie plates have been frozen. 🧵🧵🧵🧵🧵

Then we had a back and forth about it really being nutmeg, I assured that it was, because he doesn’t remember it smelling so pungent but he’s always had preground. I had to google a picture of it for reference 🧵🧵🧵🧵

Suddenly I’m having to grate nutmeg because he tossed out both of the jars of ground nutmeg I had in the great pantry clean out of 2024, of which he was the purveyor of. He kept the whole nutmeg I had in a jar only because he forgot to ask me what it was. 🧵🧵🧵

It’s like Hell’s Kitchen in here. First, there isn’t anything that he needs help with and “hasn’t needed help in the last 10 years since he started to make the pies” this is a one person kitchen. 🧵🧵
