On my 2 week vacay from work and I started off with the flu and ended up getting norovirus after that. Talk about shitty luck. I’m recovering now and felt well enough to hit Half Price Books. So this is my vacation haul.

Ever read a book that you were hotly anticipating and it turns out to be…ugh? I’m struggling to finish but finish it I will because I am nothing but loyal to the Millennium saga and my forever fictional wifey, Lisbeth. But fuck is it taking me forever to finish.

I ended up NOT liking Witchcraft for Wayward Girls because, just like Southern Bookclub, the Black characters were tokenized and stereotyped. It’s a huge disappointment and felt so gross.

I will say that Horrorstor and How to Sell a Haunted House though are absolute gems. So there’s that.

Someone just had wet food and is now napping it off.

I looove Hendrix, and I was head over heels in love with How to Sell a Haunted House. I’m working my way through all his books. This one is prolly gonna be a winner too. I’m so loving it.
