It was brilliant to be in conversation with Dr. Jane Brooks at the Library last week, I've been looking forward to this event since I reviewed Dr. Brooks' compelling book for the @womenshistoryrev.bsky.social last year. Catch up on the Library's Youtube page below.

I am so thrilled that these have launched - this addition to HE has been years in the making and is a fantastic, high-quality (free) resource for those teaching and learning about the Holocaust, the Second World War and the Third Reich.
📍 Have you explored our new educational maps for teaching the Holocaust?

New to #TheHolocaustExplained, the maps portray different events in the history of the Holocaust and the Second World War

I often find that the best reporting about the US comes from the UK & vice versa. To wit: The New Yorker's piece about the UK's failure to build a Holocaust memorial is a more clear-eyed explanation of the politics of memory than I have read in any UK publication. www.newyorker.com/news/letter-...
Why Is It So Hard to Build a Holocaust Memorial in London?
Plans for a striking national monument next to the Palace of Westminster have been mired in disagreement for years.
