because the majority of the people who work in it are close friends with Andrew, and have been longer than the HICU has even existed. I don't see why you're acting like it's this smoking gun when it's just a normal behaviour between professionals. You're being weird about it.

I'm not interested in litigating obvious both-sidesing to transmisogyny with a "detrans" person. Andrew described themselves as not a man & clowgender in Psycolonials and then every public appearance we've seen since has matched this description of gender identity. Stop lying. It's on the record.

I don't think Gio's article proves anything about Andrew's "involvement" the HICU other than the fact that the HICU & Andrew agreed they should be involved in the process with Gio specifically, which makes sense from a legal AND social perspective, because of the shared history.

It's pretty obvious to me that at very best Gio is "operating on good intenion but being aggressive in a way people don't want to interact with". He fucking compared Andrew to the nazis, wifebeaters & cultleaders, and lied about a bunch of stuff that Miles & FRAF members have testified against

I mean Andrew literally has a self insert character (ala Homestuck) who is explicitly identified as non-binary in Psycolonials. I don't know anything about it being in the credits. It's just in the game itself. It's pretty unmissable.

Ok, but why was there a footnote there at all if Gio was genuinely, sincerely under the impression that Andrew was a cis man? People don't leave citations for he/himing cis men. They just do it. It undermines the claim that Gio didn't know Andrew is NB, which is a main theme of psycolonials.

You can't bullshit me Gio, I saw it happen with my own eyes. There's photographic evidence. They weren't harassing you. She left maybe two, very lightly worded comments. It doesn't matter how you "meant" the header, it IS antisemitic, and it's not just a little whoopsie, it's totally out of line.

This is what I'm talking about, you're blatantly just letting somebody obviously shady change & tweak the narrative to how he sees fit when he experiences any amount of pushback. The footnote is a lie! I read the earlier version of it. It's on wayback machine. It's shady as fuck to cover that up.

But that footnote is a lie bc the first version of the article started with a preemptive disclaimer defending Gio's choice to gender Andrew the way they did. People don't justify using he pronouns when they're under the impression the person they're talking about is a cisgender man. They just do it.

I would genuinely believe this if it weren't for the direct references to Psycolonials (which explicitly, unignorably defines Andrew's gender identity as non-male) and the fact that the earliest version of the article started with that pre-emptive disclaimer. Seems more like damage control to me.

Wait, this doesn't make sense. The original version of the article opened up with a footnote explaining Gio's choice to gender Andrew that way -- why would Gio do that if he had no knowledge of Andrew's gender identity? Why is he referencing the visual novel Andrew wrote about being non-binary?
