that last part still has me a little emotional, it was really pretty

anyway, later in the dream all the other stuff fell away, and I had become a bird, probably a pigeon, who was soaring over the hills and buildings of the sparkling city at night while a song similar to "last summer whisper" by anri played

they also ran a company that held and controlled people's passwords and PINs and stuff and made the requirements really draconian so everyone was always writing theirs down or forgetting them

like cartoonishly "foreign" (think ghost trick's blue guys) with weird steampunk technology, like a huge whirring propellered capsule thing that held two people and let one of them spy through a periscope

also possibly supernatural in some other way?? someone who had gone through something strange and been left indelibly *changed*, a la falin
