Clinton's DOJ let Epstein off with a slap on the wrist. He was guilty as hell.

Ruin your supporters. That makes them reliant on you and you alone.

The worldwide celebration will be epic.

I felt that way for years. He is mentally ill. It's ethically challenging to wish ill on the ill. But I'm now of the mind that this--society, government, our lives--cannot be fixed until he vacated from the public sphere. I don't care what form that takes. I just care when: NOW!

The Trump White House is spiraling. He's done. He jumped the shark. Watch the rats now flee. They need the next gig. They need to find it now before it becomes impossible.

Trump will destroy a lot of shit between now and his end. But he will increasingly do it alone. Just him and the Federalists.

I am 64 and lived through a lot of infamous and memorable moments. I feel I am now privileged to live through what is possibly the darkest stain on Washington since the nation's founding.

The media statement that angers me every time "President Trump believes..." He doesn't believe shit. Every word and every stroke of the pen is shit. "President Trump says..." would be accurate. "Believes" is not.

A lifelong friend of my wife's who's a republican said after Trump's reaction to Rob Reiner's death that he was DONE.

Two old men who traded surrendered to ambition and hubris.

Oh, but JVL, we're a loving people who serve Christ and value all human life. That's America! We also love the endorphin rush of kids and young adults being gutted by gunfire. Ooh, sends chills down my spine just thinking about it!

Seriously, you're kind of a pig when it comes to age. I assume you are with regard to race and gender, as well?

The internet won't be going anywhere with repeal. It's too key to commerce and too addictive for consumers to give up.
December 15, 2025 at 6:25 PM
Nice to know you harbor no agist leanings.
December 15, 2025 at 6:23 PM
Bummer. And I would have offered you a beer...
December 15, 2025 at 6:22 PM
Your arrogance about this--that you "know" but nobody outside your interpretation knows--shows why the internet has become dangerous to democracy. One person makes a claim, a few more buy in, and suddenly nobody's opinion matters but yours. The result is more fluid than you can now admit.
December 15, 2025 at 6:21 PM
I disagree with your takes. I think the internet has brought some positives but has done tremendous damage to our minds (addiction) and country (bringing together the worst of the worst).

The internet will survive. People will demand beneficial resolution. But 230 has proven it is not that.

It would appear, from his quote, that they want reform because they fear repeal.
December 15, 2025 at 5:16 PM
You're correct, everybody in this group is on the same page. But there is another perspective.

Which is ultimately correct? We don't know. And every step we take is filled with new challenges. But I contend we're standing on a ticking landmine. And we can either stay here and wait or take the risk.

Thank you for answering.

I've read every one. Responded to many. I simply don't subscribe to their predictions. I think a repeal shifts responsibility to the people making billions off the current paradigm; and most of the harm it may do will, I feel certain, be mitigated, because the internet is so important.

I'm not trans but I care about trans rights. So, I ask this sincerely, how does the internet make you safer?
