Lottery win - a lucky dip for next week and £5. I tried to just look at the 'you're a winner' email and to hold off opening the message or looking at last night's numbers so for 15mins I might have been a millionaire.

Delighted & oh so very thankful to receive a grant from The Rowing Foundation which will buy us a quad set of sculling blades for our Juniors. We have matched the grant so 8 pairs of new blades are coming. Big difference for our small club as part of our 30th anniversary fundraising challenge.

Pub lunch with chums today - table of four. 10% service charge added to the bill. For bringing the food to the table - that's all. Really cross with them. Add £2 to the cost of the food FFS and don't pretend it's a tip.
