💫 Prince of Stars
In the realm of Lorvanth, it was said that the wealth of land was reflected in the health of its ruler. If this was true, then it was good that Riavyn was not king, for his current health could be nothing but an ill omen.  Laying on the warm bed in his tavern room, he could see the sun behind his eyelids, and the brightness of it made his head throb. He shifted under the thick furs, rolling over onto his belly and burying his head against the warm body of the young man next to him, who murmured under his breath. Something about not right now, but the prince had no intentions of doing anything but attempting to soothe his hangover. The room was the best the tavern had to offer, guaranteed by Riavyn's full purse. The previous night, it had seemed almost lavish, with a roaring fire, a featherbed, and a large flagon of honeyed wine. Everything that the prince and his paramour for the evening could desire.
