Went to the Art Institute recently (after like 5 years of living in Chicago lmao) and WOW no wonder this museum has international acclaim! It was absolutely spectacular and I barely had time to scratch the surface!

One has been identified by his leg bands as Pippin, a bachelor male who hung out at Montrose in summer 2024. The second bird, as of publication time, had yet to be ID’d.
