May be easier to just get a tub mat to throw in there on top of whatever is already stuck on. Plenty of very inexpensive options available.

that works great on damn near everything...but it may melt a hole in the tub. And your hands, so wear PPE. And don't forget a splash shield, your eyes are too pretty to go blind. Keep in mind there will always be evidence of it there, discoloration or an outline or what have you.

try an iron, on a low/med setting put a paper grocery bag between it and the tub and move it constantly so no direct heat for very long. Any stronger solvents need to be tested first, especially with acrylic. Some may deform or damage the finish. 3M makes an industrial adhesive release agent...

I missed this the other day, sorry. Been a bit MIA here on purpose. Start with heat and gentle solvents like Goo Gone or Simple Orange. If steel tub heat is easier to deal with, if acrylic then be mindful of warping. A heat gun is great for this but a regular hairdryer will also work. Can also...
