I spoke with the excellent @alexrobertross.bsky.social about the newest Bon Iver record, SABLE, fABLE, which he reviewed for Pitchfork. He spoke from a cabin in the Canadian wilderness, so you know this was inspired.

It's After the Deluge on the main podcast apps! 👏

Hi @boniverwi.bsky.social wanna come on a little podcast to talk about the new record? 🏀

Here’s a look at Vol. 3. All writing/art is paid, albeit modestly. Plus you'll get a few copies.

Pitch to delugepodcast at gmail dot com by June 11.

I’m making Vol. 4 of this zine. The main feature is on Bon Iver, but pitches can/should stray far from that… just need to live in the greater 2007-25 indie world. Short articles and/or art... paid.

😵‍💫 My social presence is trash, so please amplify if this is at all your thing!

A conversation with Chris Messina, who helped bottle up the songs and sounds on Bon Iver's 22, a Million and I,i... We talk about uprooting to Eau Claire, building out April Base, big-ass headphones, a bit of pop punk. Located at After the Deluge on your podcast app. 👏

Here's a conversation about Bon Iver's 2019 album I,i with a couple of Orcas Island locals. The highs are high and a bunch of moments jump way off the record, but [search After the Deluge on your pod app of choice].

Cleaning my inbox and @danozzi.bsky.social from 2.5 weeks ago really nailed something here.

Is this cover anything specific? Obviously iconic and great, but like is it anything besides rings and shadows w/ Stevie in the middle?

New After the Deluge episode about Bon Iver's 22, a Million w/ @ianjgrant.com of the Jokermen podcast.

The songs, the year 2016, The Ace Hotel, the days have no numbers...

I spoke with the excellent @markrichardson.bsky.social about Bon Iver, Bon Iver--which he reviewed for Pitchfork in 2011 just weeks after he became EIC. Also: fusing adult-contemporary & the avant-garde, earnestness, the midwest, Heath Ledger, Beth/Rest & a little story about almost giving it a 10.

It's 2011 and I'm living in this little cottage until tonight when I talk to a former Pitchfork Editor in Chief about this record. Gonna check the new one tomorrow.
