I keep forgetting to post how these turned out!! I finished them last week, and I’m pretty pleased with them :) really enjoyed the basing especially! working on tyranids now #RourkeHammer

Painted eyes a few days ago, and put their wings on last night! Pretty happy with how they’re going, though I have no idea what I’m going to do about the bases :) #RourkeHammer

Ok this Balthazar gold looks MUCH nicer.
While applying it I did notice some spots I missed with the Akhelian Green contrast paint (especially on the Stealth Suit model). Going to work on that tonight, and decide what to do for the details! Maybe red for the eyes/gun bits? #RourkeHammer

Tried a bit of the Sand Golem for the weapons/drone - don’t like how it looks, I think I don’t want a contrast paint for this job. Going to go for a more saturated metallic copper I think, like Balthasar Gold

Primed them all, then contrast painted and dry brushed most of them. I’m pretty happy with how they’re going so far. :) definitely learning a lot #RourkeHammer

Almost finished assembling the squad! Worked on them while watching #RoguelikeCelebration2024 .
Definitely got some excess plastic glue on a chest plate or two from my fingers, and some of them are looking too far downwards. Lessons learned, but I’m pretty happy! #RourkeHammer

Assembled my first guy! Leaving the wings off until after painting bc I understand that they make certain parts really annoying to reach.
