My fire stick died so I’m watching terrestrial tv. I’ve just switched on @chann4k.bsky.social and they appear to be showing a one hour advert for Baileys. Which is nice.

I watched Train Dreams on Netflix today. It’s a really lovely film - reminiscent of the great Terence Malick at times. Very emotional too - had me sobbing.

Watching the excellent Trespasses on Channel 4 but am reminded how terrible the Austin Allegro was. We may have sneered at the Russians for the Lada but the Allegro was the nadir of British post war industry.

Watching Dirk Bogarde in They Who Dare on the @studiocanal.com app. The soundtrack is utterly warped making it almost unwatchable. I shall persevere but it’s a shame and easily fixable.
