28 Years Later Newport One-Shot was a great laugh last night!
Our team of scavengers managed to get through Newport, to the hospital, & get a 3rd of the resources, some intel on infected & an unknown tribe - the Unseen & the antibiotics needed to save their tribal elder

I love the simplicity of the Chaosium system. It's perfect for one-shots as I don't have to worry too much about crunchy rules and can focus on the story and characters.

Tonight, we managed to get Tesseract to the table for the 3rd time.
We managed to save humanity for the 2nd time, and this time, we did it with very little in the Prime Area, and over a 3rd of the Tesseract itself still intact!
This is fast becoming one of our favourite games.

Today, my collection of resources for the Stormbringer/Elric #TTRPG grew again with some stunning sourcebooks delivered in excellent condition.
I forecast that people will see aspects of these in future blog write-ups when I incorporate them into my stories. I'm especially liking the MELNIBONE book

A soggy cycle ride to clear the mind. The Bristol to Bath cycle path which is a repurposed railway line.
It has old abandoned stations like something out of an episode of Sapphire & Steel.
Oh, and a TARDIS toilet, in which I left a Logopolis.

I'm writing a 28 Years Later One-Shot #TTRPG set in my hometown of Newport for my local games club.
As I have strong feelings about the use of generative AI, I asked a graphic designer friend of mine to whip me up a hybrid of the 28 Years Later logo and the Newport heraldry.
All non AI, too!
