I can't wait for next year, when we have a 7 week shutdown over not defending SNAP next, then we defund it anyway because "at least government wages".
...and then the following year we have the 8 week shutdown because of the wages, & we all just live hundreds of workers in a stockade like cattle.

After everyone already got to this point of suffering, this year we let health go because "our food"... But what do you think goes next year? When nobody can eat, you better all be out there protesting. Some of us are about done and ready to give up and leave you here while we head out of country.

The shutdown already hurts. It hurt the Republicans too, they got reamed in the elections. Now they're trying to smooth over the damage with their more short term memory supporters, and Dems are letting them. Lame asf. We came this far, either go all the way or doing it was useless.
