The fast left as soon as light turns green! That’s a classic. Not sure how you could make a sign of this - but if lane markers are worn/not easy to see, if you can fit, it’s a lane.

Agree. Zero interest.

We are so doomed.

Wow. I really needed this today.

The right controls the media - any narrative suggesting otherwise is false. But now it’s the common tongue, a way to undermine anything true. So many people have been duped. How do we begin to tempt them back to truth when the lies have been fed to them like candy?

I tell you what, if you’re a man who wants to get away with exploiting teenagers, be really good at something else - or really rich - or really powerful.

There’s “cool” and then there’s “coooool!”

My first binge read - George Eliot - obsessed at 13 yo.

Vonnegut
Faulkner
Michael Connelly
Stephen King
Carl Hiassen
Marquez

Lots of series by various authors (vampires, ok I admit it)

This is hard - I was more a binge author reader in my teens and twenties so I have to really think back far!

This is exactly what I would do.

I don’t know why I turned on that match last night. It was one of the saddest things I’ve ever seen. I can imagine some of the reasons he did it, and none of them are for the fun of it.
