I recently found out that Mary Shelley was bisexual and also a trans ally. She helped a couple with a transmasculine person get fake papers so he would be read with his correct gender and name and could marry his girlfriend

Interesting! Thank you for your perspective. We have considered this, and we're definitely hoping to expand our roster. Truth of the matter is that it's best to write about what one knows. I was lucky enough to have AFAB people in my circle before I started writing, which has given me some limited insight. Whereas I have yet to meet an AMAB non-binary person face to face, let alone have a lengthy in-person conversation. That's definitely something I want to change, it just hasn't happened yet. When it comes to our NB talent, we actually have content that's crafted bespoke for Sam and Safiyya, slated for Year 2, with them having full creative control. We're also hoping to bring on guest writers, who can write with experience that I simply don't have.

I love this initiative, and I'm really glad to see a group of such accomplished actors gathered together like this, specially to fight back against AI in today's day and age. <3 If you'd allow some well-intentioned feedback however, I think it would be even more significant and valuable if you added some trans women and AMAB non-binary people into the cast. I see that you are open to share this space even with (cisgender) men in the future, but it seems that you currently wanted to work with these people you knew, and assumed them all to be cisgender women- then got corrected by those who are non-binary and added that clarification as an afterthought. This post has not been edited to reflect that, which gives the impression that you think of your nonbinary peers as women-lite. I would effusively and strongly suggest you talk and work with them to change that, and reaching out to trans women and AMAB nonbinary folk would also be really meaningful given everything that trans people are going through at a global level, but specially in the US and UK.

The total price for all this is around $250 in USD. I managed to raise like half of it with a raffle but it doesn't feel like it because of all the additional tests and screenings Harley has needed. Her mouth health has been the least of our problems, but we can't postpone doing something any longer
