Campbell's Soup VP & Chief Information Security Officer Martin Bally was caught on audio belittling workers and bashing the product. "I don't buy f***ing Campbell's products barely anymore. Now that I know what the f*** is in it." Sweet irony—more delicious than chicken that came from a 3D printer.

General Mark Milley, retired US Army General and former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff:

"We don’t take an oath to an individual. We take an oath to the Constitution. And we take an oath to the idea that is America. And we’re willing to die to protect it."

Psychiatrist Judith Herman: A criminal wants you to forget what they did so they can get away with it. If that doesn't work, they discredit you. And if that doesn't work, they try to bury you.

Kim Davis refused to grant marriage licenses to gay couples after Obergefell. One couple said fuck you and sued. A jury ordered her to cough up 360K for their legal fees. She's been fighting it ever since. That's what this case was about. That, and she was jealous of their boogie (one year? ouch 👀).

The Strange One (1957), a psychological drama starring Ben Gazzara. Students at a Southern military college are faced with an ethical dilemma about the dehumanization associated with hazing. Noteworthy for its portrayal of homoerotic themes at a time when the Hays Code prohibited such expression.

Poorly educated take note: “I will be recommending” from this person means nothing. He has no intention of giving you that (or any) reward.

There's no shame in asking for help. Don't be afraid to ask others if they need it. Do what you can to provide. Do what you can to support.

A hyperrealistic sculpture of 47 in an orange prison suit strapped to a cross is on display in Switzerland. This stunning work of #AntifascistArt was created by Mason Storm. Does it depict death by crucifixion, lethal injection, or both? And yes, he is wearing Crocs. #SaintOrSinner

Empathy isn't donating to a cause or condemning a genocide or fascist regime. Empathy is recognizing our shared humanity to the radical point of seeing yourself in a complete stranger. JF

I imagine this is similar to how Christians with empathy view Christian nationalism. #YusufIslam #CatStevens

The parties had an ideological shift - important clarification for this graphic which is out of context. In the early years, the Republican Party was considered quite liberal, while Democrats were known for staunch conservatism. This is the exact opposite of how each party would be described today.

If our thin-skinned crusader can't deal with a simple escalator mishap and isn't ready with speech in-hand in case the teleprompter fails, he should rethink his qualifications for any leadership position, much less POTUS. No wonder he stinks, he must not be able to wipe himself.

I studied in DC for several yrs during Bush 2. No other president in my lifetime would dismantle artwork done in protest, let alone erect a fence around the People's House. This orange nightmare is a disgrace to the US Constitution and to democracy writ large. A message for my dear Washingtonians:
