"he" loses every second half is just not accurate. The team loses most second halves right now - they're struggling.

even if I felt frustrations about certain aspects of his decisions, I'm not "angry" at the guy. I respect him & his work for the club since he arrived - on the whole, I believe he has done a very good job, and doesn't deserve pelters, disrespect or abuse.

I'd agree that the substitutions are often quite odd - they were quite strange when chasing games in The Championship too. I cannot agree, however, that we have a total "lack of a system" - I just think we are tactically adapting as a squad to a very difficult level. Not easy for any coach or squad.

I'm a Leeds United fan and I'm not angry at him whatsoever. Season ticket holder too. For what it's worth.

has there ever been a more disrespected yet generally successful #lufc manager than Daniel Farke? It's insane to me.
November 11, 2025 at 6:54 PM
if you're blaming Farke for that mate, then we have big, big problems. It shouldn't be down to the manager to decide how long we stay on a particular target before moving onto other targets.
November 9, 2025 at 8:11 PM
I hope the next manager lined up is a smart appointment - we would have been better going down with Bielsa than employing Gracia/Allardyce last time we hit the panic button. I'm not filled with confidence that the next one will be anything but a firefighter - and it'll likely end in tears.
November 9, 2025 at 7:31 PM
I take that point but like I said, Bogle at right wing isn't the answer. Nor is Aaronson.
November 9, 2025 at 7:19 PM
Bogle at right wing is not the answer to our issues. Like I said in my original post, I'm not sure the answers to our problems lie within our current squad - the fact you want him to play two fullbacks on the same side maybe tells you I've got a point?
November 9, 2025 at 7:13 PM
I'm simply suggesting that the issues we face aren't mainly of Farke'd doing. He has been here for 2.25 seasons, won us promotion, and has us on one point per game at the Prem level - DESPITE serious recruitment issues & multiple injuries to wingers. That's all I'm saying. Overall, good job 👍
November 9, 2025 at 7:12 PM
so we bought players that don't fit the system that he wants to play? If that's true, which it might well be, the problems lie far deeper than Farke. And, to be clear, I think we would create absolutely nothing in a 3-5-2.
November 9, 2025 at 5:52 PM
perhaps that's true. So let's say he returns to the 4-2-3-1, with a higher CAM like last season. You playing Piroe or Aaronson there?
November 9, 2025 at 5:50 PM
I'm happy to criticise Farke but unless you're suggested he sits two deeper 6s maybe, I'm not sure what else he can truly do with this squad. He could play Piroe at 10, perhaps? It's a concern. We are short.
November 9, 2025 at 5:39 PM
I'm not sure it's a system issue, unless you can enlighten me on your take in more detail? There is no #10 in the squad. Gnonto & James both injured. So 4-3-3 is almost his only choice & he's chosen to play Stach further forward than he's comfortable, largely because he has nobody else.
November 9, 2025 at 5:37 PM
I'm saying this - I'm concerned about relegation regardless of whether it's Farke or anyone else you can dream up. The squad has serious deficiencies.
November 9, 2025 at 5:23 PM
so you genuinely think there is an eleven out of this current squad that is finishing comfortably mid table?
November 9, 2025 at 5:20 PM
I wouldn't worry about that. They're not the only investor at Leeds who are having a say around the table, for a start.
November 8, 2025 at 1:34 PM
every now and again, my social media shows me memories for years back - it's not that long ago that we had Dexter Blackstock up front, according to the away game photos I took that I've been reminded of recently. So, all things in context ey 👊
November 8, 2025 at 12:27 PM
I hope so, though I really wasn't overly impressed with his end product at the start of the season - he was dallying making a final decision & often failing to do much of anything. But I'll be glad to have him (and James) back to full fitness ASAP!
November 8, 2025 at 12:20 PM
that is allowing me to stay very zen this season. I think we're in very strong shape regardless of how this season pans out.
November 8, 2025 at 12:09 PM
I'd expect you to be emotionally invested - so am I! We all are! It's not a bad thing to care. But we do sometimes have to take a step back & consider the long term view. Personally, I'm not even overly concerned by relegation - that might sound insane (& id rather not), but we are in good shape 👊
November 8, 2025 at 12:08 PM
so when we sit back out of possession with a lead, you're concerned - but when Burnley do it, they're never going to get beat? You see - it's kind of where I just think you have more emotionally invested in Leeds, so you just want the points - I get it. But sometimes we do get blinkered by it.
November 8, 2025 at 12:02 PM
I totally disagree with you. But that's okay 👍 I also don't want to debate a game from four weeks ago, overly. On that day, the wind blew against us - so we move on to new opportunities positively 😎
November 8, 2025 at 12:00 PM
... in fact, at 1-0, I was very confident that we were going to equalise based on the state of the game, until they scored a very low probability worldie - cest la vie, shit happens. So you don't have to look far back to see competitiveness. You're emphasising the most recent game in your mind 👍
