I can not possibly recommend Rhythm doc enough, it's so unbelievably good

Not sure if coming out of early access counts, but on the off chance it does 100% suggesting rhythm doctor. Went in expecting a neat rhythm game with music, got that + a story with surprisingly strong emotions and some of the COOLEST HYPEST SHIT I'VE EVER SEEN IN A GAME. This game blew my damn mind

yes and no. I think it's because all the others have 10 real ranks and 10 between ranks where nothing happens. Since Lufel is story based the between ranks without events wouldn't work with him. So technically they all have 10, Lufel just doesn't have the filler

Yeah that's very much how I took it. Less "omg you're beautiful you're amazing I love you" simping, more "These idiots have a collective 1/5 of a brain cell. Please, I can't go back to being the only one with at least 1 working one."

I think the general idea of social links that will take you weeks to get through mixed with quests that are basically links you can do in a day or 2 is great if handled well and I'm interested to see how it'll work when we get the updates with content actually written by normal persona writers.

I haven't gotten to this guy, but I'm not totally against the idea depending on how it goes in the future. I love anderson and he had a long quest that was basically the equivalent of a 8 rank social link. I've hung out with him a lot afterwards too and gotten a ton of new scenes.
