Decided to change my handle to a new "pen-name" of sorts
I'm still fine with being called Tom but I like "Robin" becuz
- the best bird
- matches my silly username
- gender neutral
- not as boring a name
- handy for RPGs where I can name the protagonist

Even this screenshot comparison is a bit irksome
The lighting and colours draw your eyes to the random inventions. IIRC they do explain the landmine and vacuum but there's even more to spot.
Meanwhile the new game is more detailed but simultaneously uniform and bland. Just compare the vacuums!

Remakes are stupid. The blue tint in S;G Reboot just to differentiate it from the original is absolutely stupid and a desperation from a company that can't put out a new game

New Steins;Gate remake looks fine but pointless
The original art style has a unique style and the colours really captured the humid summer vibes
Also Elite exists which is probably more appealing to a casual audience that wants a bit more visual interest
