Thanks to BBC Pride I got to host a special staff airing of the first ep of I Kissed A Boy this week! The drama starts EARLY - don’t miss it on BBC3 at 9PM or find the first two episodes on iPlayer NOW www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/epis...

PS Dannii Minogue stuns straight out of the gate of course

Beautiful day for a last-day-of-the-season commute to North London. Have been a bit quiet on the Stat-Ro @fantasywsl.net front due to life but a few picks to follow!

Not to start a witch hunt, but this gas-swelled 2-week old (at least) Lorne sausage in the work fridge now almost definitely constitutes a bio hazard ☢️

Treated Dad to one of his favourite album’s on vinyl for his 60th (Talk Talk’s The Colour of Spring). He’s so thrilled Guy Garvey is playing its successor in full today, he’s even planning on setting up a fancy new birthday speaker to tune in

Record Store Day: West Wales edition! Great selection of new and second hand disks at Dead Sea Records, St Davids. I went for Beirut’s gorgeous and moody Hadsel @bbc6music.bsky.social

Beautiful morning getting this thing walked, getting teeth into an excellent pasty, and getting ears into a brilliant @backlisted.bsky.social episode on Hannah Arendt’s poetry

Spontaneously off to the Subway League Cup final today at Pride Park (as a neutral), but sadly will likely miss kick off because I spent this morning foraging for wild garlic

Thrilled my dad is using his retirement well (going to Monday night Doves gigs and using his hobbit stature to burrow to the front)

Really strong selection by me here 😅 only praying rotation comes into play for City and Chelsea’s second match on Wednesday (and Bunny Shaw has a storming second 45) @fantasywsl.net

Big decision made for a double game week in @fantasywsl.net; have made 4 transfers with an 8 point penalty to try and make the most of it. Explanation of choices here open.substack.com/pub/thecutba...

Really loved this Bridge Theatre Richard II. A play I did not know from Adam (well, Richard), and yet so cleverly done. Loved the Succession-inspired plinky piano music, and Jonathan Bailey rinsing every camp drop of indecision and insanity out of the titular character

Interesting media thing I noticed this week: Raya (the ‘exclusive’ dating app that requires someone get approved before joining) is now significantly cheaper than Hinge’s premium tiers. Raya is £19.99 per month with Hinge + £19.99 a WEEK

Thought this piece on Beast Games being 'meh' viewing wise really interesting. I've definitely been naive on YouTube 'views', so daily reminder to always compare apples with apples. entertainmentstrategyguy.com/2025/01/28/b...

Last year I was lucky enough to watch the Traitors Uncloaked Finale, and it was the highlight of my career getting to be in the same room as Harry, Mollie and Claudia’s fringe. Sadly laid up with flu this year, but the same MASSIVE thank yous to the cast and crew for another rip roaring series!
