I'm not saying it would have zero effect, it just shouldn't be super effective. Also I just generally feel like Pokemon getting more varied with things would make it a lot more fun. Third types, double abilities, new stats. Just something to shake it up. Rock, paper, scissors is getting old

While I'm at it, they should make it so flightless birds like Dodrio or non swimming water types like Rapid Strike Urshifu aren't weak to electric type. If you're not in open sky or submerged in water you'd be less susceptible to lighting and electricity

That said, my hot take is that the Flying type shouldn't really exist. Most of the physical attacks are body part related strikes much like many normal attacks, and the special attacks are mostly wind manipulation. Plus it would keep like 80% of pokemon with wings from being stuck with the type

While I don't disagree I also get why they did it. Rock type often denotes that the Pokemon itself is made of rock or is very sturdy. Ground however is used for mons that are linked to dirt, mud, or sand or are mons that burrow or dig. Plus it adds an extra wrinkle to the type chart

Apparently for some reason there are people pass out toothbrushes on Halloween. No fucking clue why

The best part about art is that you're allowed to get experimental. You can study an existing style, use different brushes, follow a new processes, give yourself fun challenges. Even if you're not 100% satisfied you can still return to your existing well of experience with anything new you picked up
