But because the hosts attended a couple murder mysteries this year and have Chat gpt, they see no issue with their character assignments.

They don’t have ages. They don’t have relationships. They don’t have desires, motivations, or any relation to the event or the deceased. There’s not even really any personality described?? Most characters seem to be on the job during the “party”. So there’s no just random club goers.

Like the setting is supposed to be a speakeasy. And instead of just being like “you are professor schmidt and you arrive with your homemaker wife Lily, who doesn’t know that the singer is your ex”. It’s like “you are the reporter!” “You’re the bouncer leader!”

To start with, instead of telling us what our characters are like. Or what our relationships are with everyone there. For some reason they’ve just given everyone jobs??

The vtuber stuff reminds me of drag. It’s a character that’s not *you* so you feel more free in it. If you’ve ever thrived in a costume at a party or as a persona in a chatroom, i think you’d feel great doing it. I have a friend who does it through an agency. She also has a full time job tho.
