We got some new plants for the backyard today! A new blueberry bare root that we potted next to our 2 year old one so we can hopefully get blueberries, A purple bougenvilla to replace a dead trumpet vine, & a purple penstemen that will hopefully do okay near our roses since everything else has died.

I spent three hours on math for a skirt pattern today and mocked it up in 1/4 scale in cm instead of inches to save on paper. I even double checked my math scaled back up. Look at me goooooo

Glued all my pages together, They were not enough so I have to make more!!!

After removing all the leds to make it flat I used my self designed vector to cut out some vinyl for the cover!! Now to add the LEDs back and add a paper switch

Finished my paper circuit last night and got it to work! I’m hoping i won’t burn out my lights bc all the resistors I had made them too dim so i just ditched them 🤷‍♀️ I’m not an electrical person. I’m using two button batteries for power. I still need to add a switch but it’s gotta dry first

Made my own book cloth with Poly Satin, Heat and bond Light, and some non woven sew in interfacing. Got it attached to the book boards! Now I gotta add some end pages and then the fun begins with LEDs

Got burnt out on sewing so I’m working on my book prop that will hopefully 🤞light up. Have I ever made a book before? No. First step, cutting out my hardboard.

Doing this by hand really let me know why my machine had a rough time

1/16 snowflakes done! There’s only two of these more detailed ones, so hopefully the smaller ones go faster. Still gotta pick out the rest of the stablizer (i’ll do that when they are all done) and toss it in the wash.

Yesterday I spent Time cleaning up my workspace and finding out what I already finished months ago, Plus a few things I needed to alter.
