Finished True Detective Season 1 last night (staying up way too late) but it was worth it. I haven’t had much time/energy to get into a show but I’m glad I started this. I haven’t felt so pulled in by characters or story in so long. By the last episode I was riveted. More recs like this please!!!

More Moogie origin updates from his foster organization. "There were 4 puppies total in his litter. Mookie, Bubba Gump, and Periwinkle. The fourth was Melody who passed away after arriving from an unknown illness. She was the runt and wasn't thriving. We tried to keep her alive but had to let her go

More Moogie origin updates from his foster organization. "There were 4 puppies total in his litter. Mookie, Bubba Gump, and Periwinkle. The fourth was Melody who passed away after arriving from an unknown illness. She was the runt and wasn't thriving. We tried to keep her alive but had to let her go
Moogie's DNA results are in! His brother is pictured in the results and we were very surprised at the breeds. He has the EXACT body and head shape of a Redbone coonhound, the coloring of an American Coonhound and the attitude of a pitty which his trainer picked up on right away.

I finally finished a book from the library. Devils unto Dust by @emmaberquist.bsky.social . It was so good! A little bit True Grit a little bit Walking Dead with no unnecessary romantic subplot and a strong, stubborn female heroine.
Alas somehow it got coffee spilled on it and I had to pay for it.

I finally finished a book from the library. Devils unto Dust by @emmaberquist.bsky.social . It was so good! A little bit True Grit a little bit Walking Dead with no unnecessary romantic subplot and a strong, stubborn female heroine.
