Over the last 18months (5 weekends work) I have built this #Catio to keep our 2 moggies and the local Wellington wildlife safe. I’m NOT a builder at all. No plans. Just made it up as I went along with help of my teen son. Such a rewarding project 👍🏼

I have been watching river levels near where family over there live. And looks bad as higher than 2 weeks ago and that was BAD then!

The view over the entrance to Wellington Harbour just after 2pm. Barrett Reef is in the middle of shot. Baring head (in the mist in the distance) was recording 85knots ~160kmph gusts at the time!

LOW pass over Defence House by the Herc earlier. No, they did not drop anything….. but it did scare the 💩 out of all the Pigeons 🐦 in parliament grounds!
