I’ve always thought YouTube should give creators the option to hide plays as well. YouTube gets the data either way, so it should be up to the publisher if they want that data public.
Some podcasters raised concerns this week over a new Spotify feature that will publicly display how many plays each podcast episode gets.

The feature “could potentially hurt you and prevent you from potentially earning money,” one podcaster said.

I’ve always thought YouTube should give creators the option to hide plays as well. YouTube gets the data either way, so it should be up to the publisher if they want that data public.

Weekend watches: Magalopolis was tough, but worth it for the How Did This Get Made live show, but also should they all get Oscars?? MI3, while being good not great, is the most important film in the franchise and still rules. Very excited for Gladiator 2.
