At art school, early 1970's we had to make a model of ourselves, some took life masks others were more inventive. A picture from the local paper. The irony here is that I'm now in my early 70s!

It seems that this is the newest iteration of the fossil lobbies "it's a hoax" narrative. They had a lot of success with that but people now see through it so up pops "we want to get to net zero, but..." they will try and spin this out as long as they can.

This is not a new cartoon but it bears repeating. The vested interests who used to push the "Hoax" narrative seem to have changed to "OK we have to change but not right now..." & "we can be part of the solution" greenwashing. People see through it though.

Despite good intentions easy to forget to add Alt Text but the folks at Bluesky have thought of that, settings, accessibility, tick box to prompt for alt text before posting so you won't forget.
