We get voters by believing in and articulating an opposing vision.
While the GOP noise machine manufactures consent, Dems chase polls and can only fight on the GOP’s terms. Leadership needs to pass the torch to those who present a different vision and know how to win.

Those goods that are made domestically would just raise their prices to match the tariffs imposed on foreign goods.
Tariffs won’t improve domestic products’ competitiveness - just bloat the pockets of shareholders, once again on the backs of consumers.

To avoid a civil war, the blue states could mitigate the deficit of their red state neighbors by replacing the federal funding that’s being stolen. This would set up regional alliances against the federal thieves.
