Finished reading This Is How You Lose the Time War by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone. I really liked it!
It’s really helped me think about how I can use time travel in my own work and how to approach romance in a less conventional way.
Definitely recommend it!

So I’m very eager to push into game writing, and I’ve spent a lot of time gearing my studies in my Masters with that in mind. I have absolutely no idea how to go about it. Any help would be massively appreciated!

Having something of a sci-fi day! I’ve been reading Some Desperate Glory by Emily Tesh (it’s extremely good), watching The Expanse (it’s very good), and I was playing Starfield (I have *many* hours on it).
Today really reignited my love for science fiction and has me thinking creatively again!

Having something of a sci-fi day! I’ve been reading Some Desperate Glory by Emily Tesh (it’s extremely good), watching The Expanse (it’s very good), and I was playing Starfield (I have *many* hours on it).

I’ve never quite understood people who want the Mass Effect TV show to be about the First Contact War.
While I understand the appeal from a lore perspective, I think it’s very limiting on what could be explored in the universe as a whole. You don’t get the full picture of Mass Effect from it.

It’s so irritating to see Sophie Roman Haug be completely underutilised. Gareth Taylor needs to adapt his tactics to the players instead of being so stuck in his system because everything seems to fall apart in the final third.

Oh man… Peacemaker is the best thing I’ve seen on TV in so long. Chris is such a heartbreaking character. I really hope the 11th Street Kids get the send off they deserve if there isn’t going to be a third season.
