Potentially Szobo off the left, Wirtz middle and Salah right but I still don't think It works with a regular 9 that doesn't have the workrate of a Bobby or Díaz.
Slot getting alot of flack for Richard Hughes' issue

Last season should be enough [to back Slot]. Looks like everyone takes for granted what we achieved. The situation is not only slot's responsibility, as a senior player I share it with him

Very good 👍

It would need an apology from Salah for sure which might save the situation but I'm not sure he'd be willing to give one in which case he'll be off.
I don't see Slot going anywhere until at least the end of the season and reassess then.
Hughes might have qs to answer before Slot!

True most havent performed anywhere near their levels but they all accepted being dropped and fought their way back in with any grievances kept indoors. Slot held out in replacing Salah longer than everyone else and his response last night was unaceptable

Díaz/Núñez both workhorses at 9. Szobo a physical beast at 10. Both allowed Salah to do his thing.
I was never sure what the off the ball plan was with Isak, Wirtz and Salah in the same side. Far too loghtweight. Wirtz return to 10 has seen Salah drop out. Sad it's ending like this

Gakpo was dropped for City and Real M + hooked at HT last time out. Wirtz and Isak both been dropped out at various times. Robbo, Macca and Kerkez all been dropped aswell. Mo is having his time out now clearly with a plan to shore up our right flank which has been ripped to shreds all season

Salah was the only attacker not dropped before these 3 games. All of Gakpo, Wirtz, Macca, Isak have been dropped. Now it's Salah's turn to fight his way back but he instead chose this way
As for the problem of our right side getting ripped to shreds, yes Dom has helped solve that in the past 3 games

Gets worse and worse with every read.
Doesn't have to earn his place. Thrown under a bus.
Others have been poor but I'm given the blame.
He's shat on the mgr, the club and his teammates. No way back without a public apology. Not even sure thats enough

I finally removed Twitter a couple of months ago and feel so much better for it.
The disgusting things being said about Jota or Liverpool players not being allowed to grieve or drop performance because of it pushed me over the edge.

Interesting in the press conference when speaking about Gomez performance, Slot name checked Szobozlai as helping Joe alot by tracking back.

Large part mental after what happened in the summer
Part physical due to broken pre-season after what happened in the summer
Part tactical with similar mistakes being repeated
Part recruitment with Wirtz, Isak and Salah not really a fit off the ball in the team. Kerkez also doesnt play as mgr likes

Any mgr that wins the lge or CL gets put on that flag. He earned his spot regardless of anything else that happens from here

You have been one of the few who has continually raised it on TAW Ian and fair play to you for that.

That's the biggest issue of all.
Each individual call is subjective but when you start to build up the data, we see a higher percentage of subjective calls going the way of City than Liverpool or Arsenal.

It was very quick. 55 second audio. I've seen other similar incidents where they've taken much longer as the VAR wanted all angles before a conclusion. Here, the behind goal angle shows no interference from Robertson and may have changed the outcome. I think thats the main error here

Totally agree on Chiesa. He has been one of our better performers this season. He looks like being back close to his best which was top class at Florentina then Juve. Criminal that he hasnt started a PL game yet. Mo going to Afcon might be a good thing which I never thought Id say!

Oliver conveniently missed the handball against Bournemouth. No problem, just continue to stick him on Liverpool games. Might the hardcore Newcastle fan be upset after the Isak affair? As for Kavanagh, he was great mates with Coote. These lads shouldnt be anywhere near Liverpool games.

Had we got in to HT at 1-1 we may well have kicked on second half. A disgraceful decision which gave us no chance to find out

Highly unlikely but far from over. We go again and see where we are come the Arsenal away game in January.
