Not defending his action but I was in the away end last night and no one near me seemed to notice the "ear-cupping". I only found out when I got home. And the atmosphere last night was probably less toxic than at other games this season (Bournemouth away for example)

They were absolutely awful today. The fans deserve so much better.

I don't agree with the article but Jonathan Wilson is a Sunderland fan and writes extensively on football tactics. The Hearts fan must be someone else.
