Remember when labour was the party of the workers?
December 20, 2025 at 11:33 AM
Absolutely, in isolation, but when you combine it with the other stats that we've had for decades it does.

I don't know why it irritates me when people criticise xG, but it does.

As someone who doesn't have time to watch all the football in the world, it's a nice way to see how a game really panned out. You can tell if a team was lucky to get their result or not just from comparing xG to result!

The most costly because their wages are propped up by financial doping?

Atta boy, John. Really useful comments. Is it any wonder people on the left are disenfranchised with Labour?

And you believe that is Keir I take it?

I had wanted him to be competent, but the flip flopping on policy and the pandering to the right on immigration leaves an awful lot to be desired.

He only really won the election because people were sick of the Tories and Labour were the only real option.

I don't know what your point is. Do you know that Keir, or Boris, or Rishi, or Liz, understand what BoE does?

It's okay to disagree with his opinions, but at least he is clear on what he stands for and that resonates with voters.

I'm judging what I have seen since he became Green leader and he has been more than holding his own against those who currently run the country, and the others who want to.

We've had career politicians, billionaires and lifelong civil servants in the top job and that hasn't proved very successful.

Sure, he was naive to put himself in that situation but the press deliberately misrepresented it.

You are free to draw your own conclusions on him, but a mischaracterised tabloid anecdote from 12 years ago is not a serious or credible basis on which to judge someone's ability for PM.

Have you looked into Zack's own explanation of what happened with that story?
December 15, 2025 at 2:42 PM
He went on question time's immigration special which is also shown to millions of potential voters. I believe they have rearranged his appearance on HIGNFY.

Merino wasn't particularly good midweek either. The goal and assist meant the sloppiness in possession was overlooked.

Same. Timber is so, so good, but he's not Benny Blanco
December 3, 2025 at 9:37 PM
Yet somehow I am still filled with fear when the open goal presents itself to him. I should be filled with confidence but that fear factor lingers!

That's not a slight on Martinelli, I'm just damaged by past events.

I'd say it's likely to be Merino

Bizarre article
