Last year, Russia recognized the non-existent ‘international LGBT movement’ as an extremist organization. This weekend, on the first anniversary of this designation, Moscow police conducted raids ‘against LGBT’ in nightclubs. According to reports, dozens of people were detained.

Two Russian deserters told Svenska Dagbladet that Russian servicemen had to attend mandatory meetings where, among other things, they were informed about the ‘threat of LGBT.’ The story is on the front page of SvD today.

In August of this year, Mikushin was exchanged as part of an international prisoner swap with Russia. According to an investigation by The Insider, Mikushin was not very effective at hiding his digital traces and frequently traveled to Russia. (4/7)

This is not the first time the university has come under police scrutiny. In 2021, a researcher named José Assis Giammaria was arrested on charges of spying for Russia. It was later revealed that the academic was actually a Russian GRU officer named Mikhail Mikushin. (3/7)

Russian Agentstvo reports that Russia's FM spokesperson received a call during a press briefing, and a voice on the line asked her not to comment on 'our strikes with ballistic missiles.' What’s more interesting is that the moment was cut from the video later uploaded by the ministry.
