Revisiting after the mass migration. Been 9 months since I was here, and in Parable of the Sower Lauren is now reporting that a Christofascist has just been elected president to “make America great again” and he plans to dismantle “wasteful, pointless, and unnecessary” programs.

Made some lentils with pancetta. Slowly rendered the fat, added olive oil, onions, leeks, garlic, a little white wine once almost caramelized. Sautéed the lentils in the mix, added beef and chicken stock & voila! Garnished with salsa criolla: sliced red onions, cilantro, aji amarillo, lime juice. 🍽️
