'Rembrandt: Masterpieces in Black and White' opens today at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.

The first exhibition of this scale I've worked on, and we pulled it off in a very short time. All credit to techs, conservators, marketing, painters etc!

Hugely proud to have played a small role in Birmingham Museums' Citizens' Jury, the first in a UK museum context. Genuinely working with a representative group of people to come together to think about our future. It's been emotional and challenging, loved it!

This is the first exhibition on this scale I've worked on. We've a fantastic freelance curator leading on it but I'm permanently terrified I'll be found out as an idiot. Still could happen but today we agreed paint colours so maybe it'll actually work!
