My 90 year old mother was fooled by ads on Facebook and Instagram telling my mom her phone was defective. She was getting 10-20 of these “ads” at a time. She followed their instructions to buy iPhone cleaning apps. Took forever to clean it up. FB and Instagram a cesspool now.
